AV (Autonomous Vehicles) Operation and validation group leads the entire AV experiments in Mobileye to achieve online performance testing as well as offline validation analysis to provide accurate and persistent feedback on every cutting-edge technology that enable Fully Autonomous Driving Capabilities - sensing, maps, control etc.
The process begins from the point of new systems design with the architecture department, bring-up of new hardware/software into our AV Fleet, leading the day-to-day experiments, and managing the End-to-End data pipeline. We provide AV development groups with a clear view of the AV functionality's performance. We take full responsibility for developing the tools and infrastructure necessary to support our daily operations.

What will your job look like?

    • Proficiently leading the drivers and Executing a day-long test drive end to end: Vehicle preparation, route planning, event tagging, system failure debugging, data upload, and analysis.
    • Inspect any malfunctions and abnormalities in the vehicle performance
    • Drive in complicated scenarios and various use cases, challenging the products without endangering other road users.
    • Validate and investigate any performance issues during the experiment
    • Reviewing and analyzing test results and generating summary reports
    • Travelling and supporting abroad Mobileye sites
    • Acquire the technical skill to operate and debug the vehicle's complicated systems in real-time, and on your own.
    • Support new systems installments in the vehicle, work with Mobileye systems in the vehicle, and have a good technical understanding of them.
    • Training drivers to high driving standards using test vehicles and simulators.
    • Development of training content and communication with all relevant stakeholders within Mobileye and the broader industry to ensure knowledge sharing.

All you need is:

    • Advanced driving courses - MUST
    • +2 years of Training experience - MUST
    • Driving license with Clean driving record - MUST
    • Experience in race driving or advanced driving - MUST
    • Proficient written and spoken English
    • A team player with excellent communication skills
    • Technical background – an advantage
    • Willing to work on varying hours, including evening shifts, with an option to work on Fridays if needed (usual workdays are Sunday-Thursday).
