The role
The successful candidate will join our team of highly experienced professionals, contributing their expertise to a collaborative environment. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a proprietary methodology that distinguishes us as leaders in the market, particularly in the fields of grains and oilseeds. Responsibilities
- Forecasting production, consumption, and trade of cereals at both European and global levels
- Building and fostering industry contacts to facilitate the exchange and development of market knowledge
- Contributing to Mintec/Strategy Grains monthly grain reports and contributing to the news updates published in our website
- Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, including members of the Price Reporting and Price forecasting teams
- Actively participating in professional events, such as conferences, exchanges, seminars, webinars, etc.
- Continually challenging, refining and improving operational processes to achieve improvement in productivity and quality of service
- Responding to client inquiries regarding market analysis within your expertise
Skills & Qualifications
- University degree in Agronomy or Economics, Finance or in a similar relevant field would be beneficial; a Master's degree is advantageous
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in market analysis, preferably within the agricultural or agro-industrial sectors
- Substantial background in fundamental analysis
- Strong analytical skills, coupled with natural curiosity and an ability to think critically
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of effective collaboration in a team-oriented environment
- At least 2 days per week at the office
- Proficiency in both French and English
