The role
Mavenoid is building out its sales engineering practice and looking for highly motivated individuals to help take the company to new heights. Mavenoid is an AI powered Platform that helps businesses around the world deliver high-quality customer support by offering state of the art self-service. Our proprietary machine learning models don’t require a data scientist, or developer. Businesses can get deployed in as little as a few weeks. And because we’re not your traditional chatbot, we see much higher resolution and containment rates across customers.
This position reports directly to the Head of Sales Engineering.
In your first month, you will
- Complete Mavenoid’s remote onboarding program.
- Meet with key stakeholders to align on strategy and desired outcomes.
- Build your own Mavenoid Assistant
- Familiarize yourself with our product, enablement materials, and pitch.
- Design your initial 90-day action plan.
In your first three months, you will
- Complete a mock demo presentation of Mavenoid in front of peers
- Be familiar with our out of the box integrations
- Helped complete a security questionnaire / review
- Build customized demonstrations for prospective customers
In your first six months, you will
- Deliver end-to-end demos of Mavenoid to prospective customers
- Kick off a POC
- Help close/won an opportunity
Responsibilities

- Lead product demos for prospects and customers
- Create and deliver technical presentations
- Showcase product capabilities and integrations
- Provide live system demonstrations
- Handle technical Q&A during presentations
- Assess customer requirements and design solutions
- Create technical proposals and implementation plans
- Develop proof of concept implementations
- Architect custom integrations
- Document solution specifications
- Provide technical expertise during sales process
- Conduct technical discovery calls
- Support RFP/RFI/SQ responses
- Perform technical evaluations
- Help enable the GTM team on new features
- Join customer meetings as technical expert
- Answer detailed product questions
- Help overcome technical objections
- Provide product training to customers
- Document technical requirements and draft new project charters
- Stay current on product capabilities
- Research competitive solutions
- Provide feedback to product teams
- Monitor industry trends and technologies
- Identify new use cases and opportunities

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience serving in the capacity of a Technical Sales Engineer in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment.
- 8+ years of professional working experience in a customer facing role
- Programming experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and other web based technologies
- B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
