We are currently looking for a Pre-Press & Post-Production Expert who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the Berlin Creative Services Team, Brand Marketing Team and Packaging Engineers, your focus will be on ensuring all printed files such as packaging, user manuals and other marketing material are meticulously prepared to production and processes run smoothly. In this role, you will combine your appreciation for pre-press and graphic design with your capacity for creative problem solving. You will develop skills crucial to advancing in a competitive, fast-paced retail sector, all within a company that prizes dedication and results.
What you will do
- Prepare final artworks for packaging, POS materials, user manuals, safety instructions, and other printed materials, ensuring they are print-ready and meet high-quality standards.
- Act as the key liaison between graphic designers, brand managers, and the print production team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Design packaging and marketing materials based on established templates, while ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and design specifications.
- Proactively identify potential production issues and bring forward effective, solution-oriented approaches to resolve them.
- Ensure all printed files are meticulously prepared for production, with a strong focus on layout, image quality, and alignment with technical print requirements.
What you should bring
- Proven expertise in pre-press and post-production processes, with a deep understanding of file preparation and print production standards.
- Strong design skills, including the ability to adapt existing templates and create new layouts for a variety of printed materials using industry standard software such as Adobe inDesign, Illustrator Photoshop.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering materials that meet the highest standards of production quality and aesthetics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and pragmatic approach to identifying and addressing production issues.
- 5+ years of work experience and solid knowledge of print technologies, file formats, color management, and image enhancement to ensure the best possible final product. Fogra certification is a plus.
