This leadership role involves functional leadership across the UK team, managing a high-performing and scalable team that meets company standards.

What you will do

    • Full accountability for the day-to-day performance of all UK warehouse operations, including owned sites and 3PLs, ensuring all orders (domestic and international) are dispatched on time and meet service promises.
    • Oversee UK people management, including probation, performance reviews, training, disciplinaries, payroll inputs, and overtime control.
    • Manage stock integrity, ensuring system reconciliations between NetSuite and operational platforms, resolving variances, conducting year-end stocktakes, and managing external audit activity.
    • Ensure staffing, productivity, and service levels meet performance targets, especially during peak trading periods.
    • Oversee all UK B2B, Marketplace (Amazon, eBay, TikTok), and international fulfilment routed through the UK.
    • Optimise warehouse space, layout, and infrastructure, supporting site setup or acquisitions and capacity planning.
    • Control UK warehousing costs, ensuring labour and spend remain within approved budget parameters.
    • Lead continuous improvement across systems and processes to ensure operational platforms are scalable and efficient.
    • Oversee site IT infrastructure, ensuring the IT team resolves hardware, network, and system issues in line with business priorities.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, audit standards, CCTV protocols, and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage Health & Safety compliance across UK sites in partnership with the HSE Manager and Facilities team.
    • Actively manage 3PL performance and support RFP activity for warehousing and transport.
    • Collaborate with Global Warehousing teams to align with international communications and strategy.

What you should bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Master’s degree preferred but not essential.
    • Strong systems capability with experience across multiple WMS platforms. Advanced Excel skills essential, with working knowledge of NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior operational management role in warehousing, fulfilment, logistics, or multi-channel retail.
    • Proven ability to manage performance in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
    • Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to drive decisions and improvements.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal teams and external partners.
    • Clear, confident communicator with the ability to operate cross-functionally in a global matrix structure.
    • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
    • Formal Health & Safety training within a UK/regional warehouse environment preferred.
