We are currently recruiting a Product Compliance Manager who will be integral to driving high-level performance across the Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the Head of Global Quality & Compliance, your focus will be on ensuring compliance and regulatory sign off for all product and packaging across all retail channels.
What you will do
- Ensure compliance and regulatory sign off for all product and packaging across retail channels, including Lovehoney Group websites, marketplaces, and B2B partner channels.
- Manage a global team of regulatory technicians and experts working across multiple categories, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements in various countries.
- Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with product-related legislation such as REACh, RoHS, FCC, RED, EMC, and LVD in markets worldwide.
- Collaborate with compliance bodies, export control organizations, test houses, customers, suppliers, and audit bodies to address regulatory issues and maintain compliance.
- Provide regulatory advice and support to commercial teams, ensuring all products listed globally meet necessary regulatory certifications and compliance standards.
What should you bring
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills coupled with a proven track record in effectively managing teams and fulfilling business requirements.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to analyze complex legislation and develop commercially feasible strategies for compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in managing and prioritizing workloads efficiently, meeting tight deadlines within a highly regulated environment.
- Proficient IT skills, including experience with database systems, to manage and track compliance-related information effectively.
- Fluent in English and possess a bachelor's degree in Law, Engineering, or a related field, ensuring a strong foundation for understanding and interpreting complex regulations and legal requirements.
- Extensive experience collaborating with compliance bodies, test houses, customers, suppliers, and audit bodies, encompassing a minimum of 3 years in compliance testing for the EU (CE Marking) and worldwide.
