We are currently looking for a Junior AI Engineer who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the Head of AI, your focus will be on developing AI Applications. In this role, you will combine your appreciation for Technology with your capacity for creative AI Solutions. You will develop skills crucial to advancing in a competitive, fast-paced retail sector, all within a company that prizes dedication and results.  

What you will do

    • Build AI-Powered Solutions
    • Assist in developing and implementing LLM-based applications, learning advanced prompting techniques and system design patterns 
      Support the research and prototyping of new AI methodologies under senior guidance 
      Contribute to building RAG systems for departmental information management needs 
    • Support Process Automation 
    • Help develop automated workflows and AI agents using platforms like ChatGPT Agents, n8n, or similar tools 
      Assist in identifying and implementing automation opportunities for routine business tasks 
    • Contribute to AI Product Development 
    • Support the development lifecycle of AI products from prototype to deployment
      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI solutions
      Help maintain and improve reporting systems and evaluation metrics

What you should bring

    • Technical Foundation
    • Solid Python programming skills with exposure to ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar)
      Basic understanding of LLM concepts and applications
      Familiarity with data querying and manipulation using SQL
      Experience or willingness to learn data warehouse/lake technologies (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar)
    • AI-Assisted Development
    • Experience with or strong interest in AI-enhanced development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar)
      Enthusiasm for leveraging AI to improve coding efficiency and quality
      Openness to adopting new AI-powered development practices 
    • Version Control and Collaboration
    • Working knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows
      Experience with platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
      Understanding of basic branching, pull requests, and code review processes
    • Supporting Technologies (Exposure or Willingness to Learn)
    • Basic understanding of containerization (Docker or similar)
      Familiarity with cloud platforms and services
      Interest in workflow automation tools and their applications
