We are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager – E-Commerce who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the Head of Technology, your focus will be on managing e-commerce initiatives, ensuring seamless project execution, and delivering innovative solutions on our Magento CE platform. In this role, you will combine your appreciation for technical excellence with your capacity for creative problem-solving. You will develop skills crucial to advancing in a competitive, fast-paced retail sector, all within a company that prizes dedication and results.
What you will do
- Lead E-Commerce Projects: Take full ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of e-commerce initiatives, including developing new features, implementing updates, and maintaining the Magento CE platform to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Facilitate productive meetings with Commercial Stakeholders and the UI/UX Team to capture requirements, align on goals, and translate them into actionable plans.
- Steering Committee Alignment: Develop and present comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, and priorities to the Steering Committee, ensuring clear communication and consensus on deliverables.
- Manage External Partners: Act as the primary liaison with external development agencies, overseeing timelines, budgets, and quality to meet project objectives effectively.
- Optimise Budgets: Monitor and manage project budgets, driving cost-efficient solutions while maintaining high standards in agency performance.
- Leverage Tools Effectively: Utilize Jira and Confluence to structure, track, and document all project activities, ensuring transparency and progress visibility for stakeholders.
- Streamline Communication: Serve as the central point of contact between internal teams and external partners, fostering collaboration and ensuring seamless execution of projects.
What you should bring
- Demonstrable success in a similar e-commerce project management role, ideally working with Magento CE.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (especially Magento CE), their functionality, and how they integrate with APIs and other web technologies. Ability to assess, troubleshoot, and optimize systems conceptually to support effective operations and collaboration with technical teams.
- Strong track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and prioritisation of tasks.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French is a significant asset, and German language skills are highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive mindset to balance competing priorities and drive results.
