As the Head of Data, you will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive data strategy that supports our business objectives and enhances our gaming offerings. You will lead a team of talented data engineers and analysts, ensuring the efficient collection, storage, and analysis of data. This role requires a combination of strategic vision and hands-on expertise to optimize our data infrastructure, drive insights, and support decision-making across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a robust data strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and objectives.
- Define data governance policies, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for data-driven innovation and improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the data team.
- Provide guidance on best practices for data architecture, data management, and analytics.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable data infrastructure.
- Ensure efficient data collection, storage, and processing to support analytical and operational needs.
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, machine learning, and big data technologies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for data-related matters, both internally and externally.
- Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Work closely with the executive team to support strategic decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in a data leadership role, preferably within the iGaming or tech industry.
- Strong technical expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
- Hands-on experience with data tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Hadoop, Spark).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute data strategies that drive business growth.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in AWS products.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
