We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and supporting the company’s financial planning activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial information to the Head of Finance and CFO.
- Perform periodic and year-end closing journals and prepare monthly management accounts.
- Review month-end procedures and prepare the monthly Group Consolidation.
- Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze actual performance against budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and ensure compliance with corporation tax obligations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Contribute to ongoing projects and provide support on ad-hoc tasks as they arise.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Possess an ACCA qualification or a University degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in Excel and XERO; experience with Oracle NetSuite is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible, and capable of working independently or in a team.
- Resilient under pressure, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- Passion for gaming or prior experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
