About our team
As our Head of Internal Communications, you will report to our Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and join a talented human resources team.  You will collaborate with your peers in the HR Team  as well as our Strategy and Product teams  to shape and implement a comprehensive strategy to keep our teams informed, engaged, and aligned with Kiwi.com’s vision and mission. You’ll collaborate closely with Executive Leadership, HR, PR, and other key stakeholders to ensure that our communications are clear, consistent, and empowering, in line with our fast-paced, experimentation-driven culture. In addition to Internal Communications, you will be responsible for Employer Branding (working with Talent Acquisition).

What you will do

    • You will build and lead a robust internal communication plan that supports our business objectives and product-led transformation. 
    • You'll craft clear, compelling messages that  inspire and inform our employees, you’ll create engaging, straightforward, and empathetic messaging for a variety of platforms (newsletters, email updates, all-hands meetings, etc.) 
    • You’ll develop and execute our Employer Branding strategy. To enhance our ability to attract the right talent, you’ll build and execute a light weight & effective employer branding plan that enhances our ability to attract the right talent.
    •  You’ll work closely with executive leadership, product & strategy teams, HR, and other departments to ensure communication is tailored, relevant, and addresses key employee concerns.
    • You’ll support leadership messaging, developing talking points and materials for leadership to cascade important information through teams. You’ll empower our managers to effectively communicate key updates, especially around product milestones and organizational change.
    • You’ll develop initiatives to enhance morale and maintain productivity during periods of change, leveraging internal channels like our intranet, internal social platforms, and feedback loops.
    • To improve engagement and impact, you’ll ensure employee-centric messaging. Regularly gathering feedback and insights from our employees, you’ll refine our messaging and improve communication touchpoints.
    • You’ll manage change management & crisis communication.
    • You’ll provide counsel to leadership on best practices for managing communication around changes in strategy, structure, or product pivots.

What you will need

    • Proven experience leading internal communications within a fast-paced, product-centric/ technology organization.
    • Experience with creating & executing employer branding strategies for a technology scale up. Exceptional written & verbal communication skills with bi-lingual  level English fluency.
    • You bring the ability to craft clear, concise and impactful messages for a diverse audience and  the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, impactful messages.
    • Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally, especially with product, HR, and leadership teams.
    • Your excellent interpersonal skills will see you build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Previous experience working closely with executive leadership and providing strategic counsel on internal communication matters.
    • Experience working with organizational change management principles and direct experience in managing communication during periods of transformation & change.
    • You are a strategic thinker who thrives in an environment of innovation, experimentation, and rapid change.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment, coupled with an analytical mindset.
    • You bring the ability to measure and evaluate communication effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly. 
    • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or a related field
