About our Design & Research Team

At Kiwi.com, our Design & Research team is made up of product designers, UX researchers, and content designers with a mission to deep dive into travelers’ behavior, lower friction and make traveling fun. The Shopping Experience team (search & booking) has ownership of key initiatives in our shopping funnel and utilize Figma and other cutting-edge tools/technologies to deliver a best in class experience. 

What you will do

    • You will build a deep understanding of our users, products, and business strategy to uncover new opportunities and identify gaps.
    • You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define and execute growth initiatives, ensuring alignment across all stages of the design process.
    • Sharing your work, early and often and you’ll create interactive prototypes and assets for team and user feedback, iterating based on insights received.
    • You will be responsible for delivering complete, high-quality designs and specifications for projects, collaborating closely with our Product Managers and Engineers to ensure seamless and fast implementation.
    • You will champion UX best practices, guiding your team in making informed design decisions that prioritize user experience.
    • Adhere to and enhance established design system patterns, continuously seeking ways to elevate the product through thoughtful design improvements.
    • Exploring our global travel systems and traveler behaviors, you will shape your design work, leading the process from concept to implementation with a focus on user needs.
    • You will advocate for user needs through research and usability testing, ensuring that designs are grounded in real-world insights.

What you will need

    • You bring extensive UX/UI design experience with a demonstrated track record of success in previous Senior Product Design role(s) and proven success creating intuitive, engaging user experiences.
    • You offer some previous experience working within payments or e-commerce context, including an understanding of industry trends and best practices.
    • Your portfolio of work, showcasing your strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to user-centric design.
    • A demonstrated sense of accountability with a history of fostering responsibility within cross-functional teams, leading to successful project delivery.
    • Your ability to uphold a strategy-focused mindset that values analysis, consistently leveraging user feedback to inform decision-making processes.
    • You are fluent in English and have strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, enabling effective interaction with internal stakeholders and team members.
    • Your genuine eagerness to contribute to high-impact projects, with a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the organization.
