THE HOUSE
Jacquemus is a high-end French ready-to-wear brand with a graphic and poetic style driven by the values of authenticity and transparency of its creator Simon Porte Jacquemus.
To support the strong growth of the House, we are looking for a Graphic design assistant for a 6 month internship starting at the beginning of January 2025.
YOUR MISSION
As a graphic design assistant at Jacquemus, you will work closely with the Image department and our creative and production teams to ensure that all artwork is prepared accurately and to the highest standard for print and digital outputs.
You’ll be responsible for taking creative designs and reworking them for final delivery, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
· Working closely with and supporting the Image team, following designs and artwork from their conception to final sign-off
· Preparing print files for for digital print in small and large scale, as well as carrying out proof checking prior to print
· Ensuring artwork is consistent, accurate and follows any brand guidelines throughout different mediums and formats
· Adapting and rework existing designs for various formats and sizes while maintaining brand consistency
· Retouching and manipulating images
· In-depth research to find relevant inspiration and reference materials for projects
· Collaborateing with team members to conceptualize and refine design ideas
· Developing visually compelling and professional decks, presentations
REQUIREMENTS
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
· Basic video editing skills in Premiere Pro, Aftereffects
· Strong layout and typographical skills
· Working with both Macs and PCs softwares
· Creating visual concepts and retouch images to ensure they meet print and web standards, reformatting assets
· A strong understanding of print production processes, including colour management and pre-press techniques
· Ability to work on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
· Communication and organisational skills
The position is based in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
