Working alongside our experienced vets and nurses, you'll gain hands-on experience while completing your veterinary nursing qualification, developing the knowledge and practical skills needed for a rewarding career.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Student Veterinary Nurse, you will be supported and encouraged to develop both your clinical and non-clinical skills while working towards qualification as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
You’ll be an integral part of the practice team, supporting patient care under the guidance of Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of nursing duties while progressing through your training programme and developing confidence in your day-to-day practice.
Working Pattern
Key Responsibilities
*Learning to provide high-quality nursing care to a wide variety of patients
*Supporting consultations, theatre, and inpatient care
*Preparing and maintaining equipment and clinical areas
*Maintaining excellent hygiene and infection control standards
*Assisting with reception and administrative duties when required
*Building positive relationships with clients and colleagues
*Completing coursework and practical training as part of your apprenticeship programme

No previous veterinary experience is essential, although experience working with animals or in a customer-facing role would be an advantage.
