We are looking for Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic team in Caterham on Fixed Term / Part Time 30 hours basis.

Two of our vets are on maternity leave - we're genuinely thrilled for them and their growing families, but we need someone brilliant to join our tight-knit team from June for 4 months to a year.

3 vets who collaborate rather than compete (and will genuinely welcome you as an equal)

2 clinical directors who lead by example, not by protocol memo (and yes, they consult too)

5 RVNs who've mastered the art of clinical excellence AND anticipating what you need

3 receptionists who can defuse any angry client and somehow keep your consults on schedule

1 practice manager who will go to every length to support you

Let's be honest: with a smaller vet team, you'll be busy. Clients want miracle cures, complex cases don't always go to plan, and some days you'll carry the weight of difficult decisions.

Here's what we will do: We'll make sure you never face it alone. We've mastered the art of peer support, celebrating the wins, and processing the tough cases together. No judgment, no martyrdom culture, just genuine collegiality. Yes, we're a smaller crew during this period, but that also means you'll be a vital part of the team from day one - not just a locum filling a gap.
