Veterinary Surgeon
Salary up to £67,000 FTE DOE
 
We are seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our well-established and supportive team. This role is ideally suited to a vet who is flexible and able to work in both a busy hospital environment and thrive sole charge at one of our friendly, client focused branch surgeries. The successful candidate will be confident in delivering a high standard of clinical care, with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on client service. The position is a first opinion GP role and will involve a balanced caseload of both routine consultations and surgical procedures.
 
*Long-established Tier 3 hospital based in Bath
*On-site advanced imaging: MRI and CT
*Digital X-ray and dental X-ray facilities
*Comprehensive in-house diagnostics
*Five satellite branches with varying size and facilities
*Established teams and loyal client base across all sites
*Central referral site (Rosemary Lodge) houses Bath Veterinary Referrals with specialist clinicians and surgeons

How You’ll Make a Difference 


As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. 

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you. 

We are dedicated to providing a fantastic work/life balance to our staff with:
*Working hours on average 40 hours per week
*4 day working week
*A weekend pattern of 1:8 full weekends (Sat 0800-1800 + Sun 0830-1330) and 2 additional Saturday mornings consulting per annum (0900-1300)
*This role has no OOH
*Happy to offer part-time work patterns to the right candidate

You are a confident and motivated veterinary surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring: 

* A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS 
* Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
