We are delighted to offer a rare opportunity for a Director of Practice and Clinical Services to join Moorview Vets, a highly respected, multi-site practice delivering exceptional first opinion care across the Northeast. This is an exciting role for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to combine clinical excellence with strategic leadership, helping to shape the future of a progressive and well-established practice.

Moorview Vets is a high-end, multi-site practice comprising a main hospital, consult-only branches, and a dedicated dental facility. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology, enabling the team to manage a wide range of cases in-house while maintaining a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient care.
 
Practice highlights:
  • 5-site group including a main hospital and specialist dental facility
  • Advanced equipment including CT, digital radiography, dental imaging, laparoscopy, endoscopy, and Doppler ultrasound
  • Strong collaboration with a nearby referral centre and visiting orthopaedic specialists 
    *A highly skilled team with multiple certificate holders across medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, and cardiology
  • Supportive learning culture with regular case discussions and CPD engagement

How You’ll Make a Difference

 
As Director of Practice & Clinical Services, you will provide senior clinical leadership across the practice, setting and delivering the clinical vision in line with IVC Evidensia’s strategy, standards, and values.

You’ll oversee clinical governance, quality improvement, and performance across services, working closely with operational leaders to drive excellent patient outcomes, sustainable service delivery, and a strong clinical culture. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will maintain an active clinical caseload, supporting and mentoring colleagues across the practice.
 
  • Full-time role working 40 hours over 4 days per week 
  • Approximately 75% clinical with dedicated leadership responsibilities 
  • No out-of-hours or on-call commitments 
  • Part-time applications (30+ hours) also considered
