Pool House Veterinary Group is a 24hr, 4 site practice. We are a team of 20 vets with a wide range of experience and skills including certificate holders in Anaesthesia, ECC, Imaging and Surgery, with more of our team working towards additional certificates.

We are a busy practice with a truly varied workload. We run our own OOH with a team of designated night vets and nurses, but with many of our day team opting to partake in our night rota. We encourage new/recent graduates to be involved with this rota as we feel this is an excellent way to learn and develop your skills but with the reassurance of a support rota from the senior vet team, should you need it.

Ideally we are offering a 4 day week with set day off. 10 hour days. Shifts 8.30am - 7pm but with share of late shift (11am-9pm). Weekends on rota basis (approx 1 in 5), Sat and Sun 10 hour shifts but with equivalent time off in lieu the following week. Contribution to night rota encouraged but negotiable.

The practice boasts a number of facilities including, X-ray, dental X-ray, laparoscopic surgery, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, ultrasound and comprehensive lab.

We are long standing practice with a dedicated and supportive team. We pride ourselves on high standards or patient care and customer service.

We think this role is best suited to someone recently graduated, who wants to grow and develop their skills, but we also welcome applications from those with more experience and established strengths
