Wright & Morten is an long established, 6 site mixed practice and we are looking for a vet to join us at our Small Animal Hospital based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, bordering on the Peak District but with excellent transport links and within easy reach of Manchester.
 

Practice Highlights

 
The role will be based at our new Macclesfield hospital, with some time spent at branch surgeries. Our new hospital is well equipped with CT, dedicated x-ray, dental and ultrasound suites, plus 2 theatres, ICU and lots of accommodation for dogs, cats and exotic pets. We're also a gold standard Cat Friendly and Dog Friendly practice.
 

How You’ll Make a Difference

 
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
 
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
 

Key Responsibilities

 
We are looking for a vet with some experience, who has excellent communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach. In return you'll get to be part of the loveliest team of vets, nurses and support staff you could hope to meet!

40 hours per week, split over 4 weekdays and 2 in 5 Saturday mornings
 
We are a VetsNow Host practice - so no out of hours but round the clock care for our patients, and an equally shared rota of 2 in 5 Saturday mornings, resulting in good work life balance

You are a confident and motivated veterinary surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring:
 
* A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
* Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
* A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
* Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
* A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
