Veterinary Surgeon

Salary up to £75,000 DOE

 

 

At Summerwood Vets, we believe great veterinary care starts with happy, supported vets. This role is sole charge role, with the option to work alongside another Vet 1 day a week. You'll supported by our friendly team from across the group, allowing you to grow your skills, and enjoy a balanced rota that supports both your career and your life outside work.

Our caseload primarily consists of routine consultations, surgeries, and laparoscopic spays. We also host visiting orthopedic surgeons each month at our other branch. We’re happy to support and develop your specific clinical interests. Wherever you are in your career, we’re here to support you. The role offers flexible full or part-time hours, with no weekends or out-of-hours shifts. We can offer 40 hours over 5 shorter days where you would work alongside another Vet 1 day per week, or we can do 4 longer days at 38 hours with 30 min lunch. We are happy to discuss options and can be flexible to suit the right candidate.

 

If you're looking for a fixed term contract, we are happy to look at options of 6, 9 or 12 months.
