We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Stamford Vets on a part-time basis.
 
Our practice offers the best of both worlds—providing excellent first opinion care while also hosting a well-established referral service in cardiology and internal medicine.
 

How You’ll Make a Difference

 
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.
 
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
 

Working Pattern

 
*30 hours per week with additional hours available throughout the year to provide holiday and absence cover.
 

Key Responsibilities

 
*Providing a warm and professional welcome to clients and their pets.
*Managing appointments and maintaining accurate client records.
*Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries in a helpful and efficient manner.
*Processing payments and handling administrative tasks.
*Supporting the veterinary team with general reception duties.
*Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.
*Delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
