East Grinstead Vets are looking for a dynamic Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. 
 
The town of East Grinstead has a many sport and leisure facilities, a cinema and easy train links to London. Beautiful Ashdown Forest is on our doorstep and Brighton and the South Downs National Park are within easy reach. Gatwick airport is only 20 minutes away for getting away on those well-earned breaks!

How You’ll Make a Difference

 
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
 
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care while leading and supporting those around you.
 
Day-to-day duties include a mix of consultations, working up medical cases and some routine surgery. You will be responsible for a wide range of cases with support from experienced colleagues.
 
Joining a team of
 
*6 vets
*6 nurses
*Support of 2 practice managers.
 

Working Pattern

 
*No out-of-hours commitment
*1 in 3 Saturday mornings only
*Genuine flexibility around working hours and rota patterns
* Full-time hours are across 4 days, part time hours considered
*One late finish per week of 7.30pm finish

You are a confident and motivated Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering outstanding patient and client care. You’ll bring:
 
* A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
* Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
* A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
* Professionalism, reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
