About MBM Vets

MBM Veterinary Group is a long-established, independent practice with three branches in Kilmarnock, Mauchline and Beith, located in the beautiful Ayrshire region. The area offers easy access to the coast, excellent transport links to Glasgow and central Scotland, and a great lifestyle for outdoor enthusiasts.

Our practices are modern and well equipped, allowing a wide range of diagnostics and treatments to be carried out in-house. Facilities include digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, ECG, electrocautery and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. A dedicated lab nurse supports daily workflows, and as a host practice for Vets Now out-of-hours, hospitalised patients can remain on-site overnight.

Our Team and Culture

You’ll be joining a supportive small animal team of 20 vets, including certificate holders, alongside 16 RVNs, ANAs and an experienced reception team. We pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of care within a respectful, collaborative environment and actively support CPD, certificates and areas of clinical interest.

About the Role

The role involves all aspects of small animal nursing, including theatre work, inpatient care, consultations, emergency triage and client support. We are keen to hear from nurses who enjoy running nurse-led clinics and contributing to client education and preventative healthcare. Clear, compassionate client communication is central to our approach.

Why Join MBM Vets?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, forward-thinking practice offering a varied caseload, excellent facilities and a genuinely supportive team. We are committed to helping our nurses grow and develop while maintaining a healthy work–life balance.
