How You’ll Make a Difference

Due to the retirement of a valued member of our team, we are looking to welcome a new Receptionist to join us.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, providing a warm, professional and compassionate welcome at every interaction. You will support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, working closely with both clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a seamless and positive experience for clients and patients alike.
This role is akin to a front-of-house hospitality position - client care is at the heart of everything we do. While you won’t be part of the clinical team or work directly with animals, you will play a crucial part in supporting their care through excellent service and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
*Welcoming clients and their pets to the practice
*Answering telephone calls and handling client enquiries
*Booking and managing appointments, including already scheduled visits
*Providing information to clients regarding appointments and services
*Handling pre-authorisations, insurance claims, and Carefree Credit applications
*Taking payments and managing financial transactions
*Completing daily administrative tasks
*Maintaining a clean, fresh, and welcoming reception, waiting area, and facilities
*Relaying client queries to veterinary surgeons and nurses, and responding as appropriate
*Supporting ongoing client communication and follow-up
