Unlock Your Passions at Delaware Veterinary Group:
Delaware Veterinary Group is a thriving group of two mixed practices based in Yeovil. Yeovil is a self-sufficient, medium-sized town with excellent train links to London and other major cities, and the Jurassic Coast is just a short drive away for day trips. The town offers all essential amenities while still providing easy access to the surrounding countryside and areas of outstanding natural beauty. This position is based at our Yeovil site.
We have a supportive team of 5 qualified Vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 1 VCA. Our practice is friendly, with an open management culture where wellbeing, teamwork, and work–life balance are top priorities. We are proud to be the 2025 winners of the Brilliant People Team of the Year award.
Our purpose-built practice offers excellent facilities and equipment, including four consulting rooms, a prep room and separate theatre, dedicated dog and cat wards, digital X-ray including dental, endoscopy, ultrasound, and much more.
Enjoy a welcoming environment with structured support and flexibility to suit your lifestyle:
40 hours per week over 4.5 days, including one late evening shift each week. Saturday mornings are on a 1-in-3 rota. There is no emergency out-of-hours work, and a low-level inpatient rota operates on a 1-in-6 basis.
You will be supported by our VetGDP Advisor and four other experienced vets on site. Scheduled time is provided for learning and reflection, including completing VetGDP and all Academy training. We offer a phased introduction to practice life and daily routines, with controlled exposure to consultations and back-of-house procedures, paced to suit each individual graduate.
