Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
"I’ve spent the last seven years growing with this veterinary group, and it’s been an incredible journey. If I had to pick the best part of working here, it would hands-down be the people. Whether you’re a vet or a nurse, there is a shared sense of purpose and a 'we’re in this together' attitude that is hard to find, a really dedicated team and we take care of each other. We get to treat a huge variety of small animals and build relationships with a fantastic range of clients. But beyond the clinical side, I’ve always felt 'seen' by our leadership team. They are incredibly understanding of the pressures we face and are always there to offer support when it's needed most.
It’s a workplace that feels like a community." - Alex, vet
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working at Hillman Vets for nearly eight years, having started my journey here as a new graduate. The day-to-day support I have received has been phenomenal, and I am incredibly grateful for the continuous investment in my career development, which allowed me to complete my postgraduate certificate and participate in the Artemis leadership course. Coming to work at the Lichfield branch truly feels like being with family; everyone is so genuinely kind, and the close relationships we share make it a wonderful and supportive place to work." - Alberto, our departing vet
