We are looking for an enthusiastic GP vet to join our team. We have a lovely welcoming team across 8 sites in Bristol, run by an experienced team of Clinical Directors and Vets, many of whom have been with the practice for more than a decade!
This role is based predominantly in our main hospital, but some afternoon consulting sessions (from 4pm-6.30pm) will be based in one of our branch practices.
We feel this role would suit an experienced veterinary surgeon with a medicine bias and confident skills in ultrasonography.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
* Predominantly a mix of consulting ( 1 day a week) and inpatient/ward shifts (3 days a week).
* Inpatient/ward shifts involve looking after our inpatients including any investigation required
* Seeing any urgent/emergency appointments throughout the day
* Consult at our hospital either all day or consult in the morning and travel to a nearby branch practice to consult from 4pm
Working Pattern
* 38.7 hours per week
* 8.30am-6.30pm (1hr unpaid lunch), 4 day week. Set 1 day off / week
* 3 in 11 weekends: Fishponds 9am-4pm (1hr unpaid lunch), Zetland Road Hospital Inpatients/Emergencies 8.30am-5pm (1hr unpaid lunch), Zetland Road Hospital Consults 8.30am-5pm (1hr unpaid lunch)

* A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
