We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our wonderful White Cross Vets team in Guiseley. 

Your role will be a balanced mix of nurse consultations, assisting with surgical procedures, and providing care for inpatients.

About the Practice

Our Guiseley practice is the flagship clinic of Whitecross Vets, with the head office conveniently located just upstairs. Nestled in the charming town of Guiseley, West Yorkshire—just 8 miles northwest of Leeds city centre—the practice benefits from excellent transport links, including a local railway station offering regular services to Leeds, Bradford, and Ilkley. Our clients are wonderful, with many being insured and part of our Complete Wellness Plan.

About the Team

At the heart of our Guiseley practice is a strong emphasis on wellbeing and work-life balance. Our close-knit team includes 6 vets (4 of our vets are certificate holders), 7 nurses, and 4 client care team members. We prioritise downtime and team connection with monthly wellbeing sessions designed for relaxation and fun. Regular team meetings and one-to-one check-ins help us stay connected and supported.

Our team is experienced, passionate, and committed to continuous development—always looking for ways to enhance our care and clinical standards. Working Hours

This part-time position offers 22.5 hours per week, with shifts scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. You'll work a mix of early (8:00 am – 3:00 pm) and late (11:00 am – 7:00 pm) shifts. The role includes participation in a 1-in-6 Saturday rota (8:00 am – 5:00 pm), with no out-of-hours or on-call duties required.
