Alder Veterinary Practice in Spalding is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team.

We have two well-established surgeries in the Lincolnshire market towns of Spalding and Bourne, both with loyal client bases built over more than 20 years. We are situated close to the historic town of Stamford, where you can visit Burghley House, the Burghley Horse Trials or Rutland Water. Peterborough is also approximately half an hour away, with direct train links into London.

Our Veterinary Surgeons take the time to talk clients through all available care options, helping them make informed choices for their pets. We also work closely with a range of referral practices when additional expertise is required and have strong relationships with neighbouring practices, regularly discussing cases and sharing clinical knowledge.

Practice Highlights

Both practices are well equipped for our varied first-opinion caseload, with digital radiography including a recently upgraded DR system, ultrasound equipment including a brand-new state-of-the-art machine, dental X-ray and in-house blood testing equipment. We also have good-sized theatres and consulting rooms.

Our friendly team comprises 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses and a full team of Receptionists. We’re a supportive team who are always willing to step in and work together when needed, with a shared commitment to delivering high standards of patient and client care.

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
