Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal
Up To £70,000 DOE, Up to £5,000 welcome bones, Up to £5,000 relocation allowance
Deane Vets are excited to welcome a Veterinary Surgeon to our busy and friendly GP practice, caring for a wonderfully varied caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries and even the occasional tortoise.
This role offers a great balance between consultations and surgery, with flexibility for those who prefer a consult-only position. Every day brings something different, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to both patients and clients.Located close to the main high street, our purpose-built practice has recently undergone a full refurbishment, creating a modern and welcoming space to work.
Our surgical caseload is largely routine, covering dentals, lump removals and a variety of soft tissue procedures, but there is plenty of scope to develop your clinical interests. You’ll be encouraged to work cases up thoroughly, build confidence at your own pace and enjoy continuity wherever possible.
Support is always close by, with experienced vets on hand to mentor and guide. We’re also well equipped with ultrasound, dental X-ray, DR X-ray (SignalPET), a full in-house lab, microscopy and cytology to help you deliver excellent care.
You’ll be joining a genuinely friendly and supportive team of five vets, eight RVNs and a fantastic client care team who value collaboration, kindness and a positive working environment. We actively encourage professional development and are happy to support certificate training.
IVC Evidensia is the UK and Europe’s leading veterinary care group, made up of over 900 practices and referral hospitals, united by a shared purpose of happier animals, happier owners.
