We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Seafield Vets on a full-time 12 month basis.
Seafield Vet Group has 3 branches (Keith, Banff and Buckie) each with a comprehensive range of diagnostic and surgical tools including a full Idexx lab suite and a new and updated ultrasound allow our team to work up cases in house to a high standard. Our Banff and Buckie branches both see a small animal caseload, whereas our main site at Keith is a mixed practice covering small animal, farm and equine. We a have a strong small animal client base and would be happy to support our successful candidate in gaining some exposure to farm or equine cases if desired.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
Working Hours
* 38 hours per week
* Working over 4 days
* 1 in 4 weekend rota
* No OOH responsibilities
General responsibilities:
* Provide a high standard of nursing care to patients across a varied caseload, including routine, emergency, and surgical cases.
* Support veterinary surgeons with procedures, inpatient care, diagnostics, and Schedule 3 activities where appropriate.
* Run nurse consultations and clinics, delivering excellent client care and preventative healthcare advice.
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Support the development of nursing services and contribute to maintaining high clinical standards across the practice.
