An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join The Veterinary Centre Glasgow, a long-established small animal practice with deep roots in Glasgow's West End. Flexibility that fits your lifestyle

 

We know that work-life balance is important, which is why we offer flexible working patterns designed to support you both inside and outside of work. This full-time position involves 40 hours per week over 4 days, with working hours between 8:30am and 7:30pm. You'll share a 1 in 5 Saturday rota, working 8:30am–5:30pm, with no out-of-hours or on-call responsibilities, as emergency and OOH cover is provided by Vets Now Glasgow. We're also happy to discuss flexible working arrangements where possible.

The Veterinary Centre Glasgow is a well-equipped, single-site small animal practice located in the vibrant West End of Glasgow, offering the perfect combination of city living and community-focused veterinary care. The practice recently underwent an exciting refurbishment, including the addition of a dedicated dental suite with dental radiography, providing an excellent opportunity to continue developing this area of the practice.

You'll be joining a friendly, supportive and ambitious team of 17 colleagues, including 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Nurses, a Practice Manager and a Head Veterinary Nurse. The team genuinely enjoys working together and has a strong focus on continuous improvement, knowledge-sharing and developing clinical skills. You'll be supported to build your confidence, develop your interests and contribute your own ideas to the team.
