Tower Vet Centre is looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. You'll enjoy a balanced mix of consulting and surgery, with access to excellent diagnostic equipment and a diverse first-opinion caseload ranging from routine preventative healthcare through to more complex medical and surgical cases.

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you'll work as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team, delivering exceptional patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

Key Responsibilities

 
* Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care across a varied small animal caseload
* Manage a balanced mix of consultations, diagnostics, medical workups, and surgical procedures
* Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and continuity of care
* Work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support colleagues
* Contribute to clinical discussions, case reviews, and shared learning across the team
* Support high standards of patient care and clinical excellence throughout the practice
 

Working Pattern

 
* Fixed-term maternity cover contract
* 40 hours per week
* Flexible rota worked across 4.5 days
* Shifts scheduled between 8:30am and 7:30pm Monday to Friday
* 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am–1pm)
* Structured rota designed to support a healthy work-life balance
