Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal
Due to an ever expanding fabulous case load we are wanting to find a Vet to join our already wonderfully little team at White Cross in Redcar, North Yorkshire.
The role is a 12-month fixed term contract, working 20 hours per week. Our working hours are 8.30-7pm and a share of Saturdays which you receive time back for on Fridays!

- Kind and experienced 4 vet team including certificate holders to nurture and encourage growth and development. All vets have their own area of interest including surgery, internal medicine and diagnostic imaging.
- 7 Highly skilled and supportive nurses including those with and working towards advanced qualifications.
- Opportunity to operate every day (even all day sometimes!)
- Ability to work up and manage cases to full potential with access to full in house laboratory, microscopy, ultrasonography (with a new ultrasound machine!) , ECG, access to endoscopy and dental X-ray

- Regular vet case discussions to share cases and ask for advice
- Monthly clinical discussions for reflection and auditing for all clinical staff

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

* A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
* Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
