Ark Vets is a fantastic and supportive practice, close to Sheffield and the wonderful Peak District, known for its stunning natural beauty, and a wide variety of outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and climbing. You may be required to work at both our Killamarsh and Dronfield sites and we have both exotic and small animal caseload seen, so we are a great choice if you have a keen interest in exotics. 

We are a friendly and supportive team of 3 vets and 4 RVN’s, as well as a fantastic support and administrative team. Within our team, we have an Advanced Practitioner in Zoological Medicine, exotic certificate holders, imaging certificate holder, soft tissue surgery certificate holder and ophthalmology certificate holder. 

Practice facilities and equipment include Keyhole, K-Laser, digital x-ray including dental, comprehensive in-house laboratory, purpose built operating theatre and much more.

You will work 40 hours per week which will be split over 4 days per week with one midweek day off to be determined. There will also be 1:6 Saturdays (shadowing with an experienced vet to start), no Sundays, no OOH. Our practice opening hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am to 6:30pm, Saturday 8:30am-3:00pm.
