About the role
IVC Evidensia is continuing to evolve its operating model across Ireland to ensure a consistent, structured and sustainable approach to practice support. As part of this, we are seeking an Area Support Manager (ASM) to work closely with an Area Director and provide hands-on operational support across a defined group of practices.
This is a highly collaborative role, acting as the key operational link between practices and central support teams. You’ll help ensure clarity, compliance and the effective execution of agreed priorities, processes and frameworks—allowing practices to focus on delivering exceptional care.

What you’ll be responsible for

Operational & Practice Support
Act as the primary operational point of contact for practice leadership teams
Support the implementation of agreed initiatives, frameworks and processes
Resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate risks where required
Maintain oversight of actions, ownership and follow-through.

Performance, Reporting & Insights
Coordinate the collection and circulation of performance data
Support practices in interpreting dashboards, KPIs and scorecards
Identify trends, risks and opportunities and share these with the Area Director
Track actions from performance reviews and ensure timely follow-up.

Finance & Commercial Support
Support the monthly financial rhythm across practices
Coordinate the distribution of financial insights and performance information
Support compliance with purchasing, debt management and reporting processes.

Practice Visits & Area Cadence
Conduct structured practice visits using agreed checklists and focus areas
Provide on-site support and document outcomes and actions
Organise area meetings, leadership forums and routine calls
Prepare agendas, reports, presentations and minutes

People, Training & Compliance
Support onboarding and induction of Practice Managers and Clinical Directors
Monitor completion of mandatory training and compliance requirements
Support recruitment processes in line with budgets and approvals
Identify and escalate governance, clinical and health & safety 


What we’re looking for
Experience supporting operations across multiple sites or locations
Strong organisational, coordination and administrative capability
Comfortable working with data, reporting and performance

Excellent attention to detail with strong follow-through
Confident communicator, able to influence without formal authority
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
