Ark Vetcare Foxrock is seeking a Veterinary Nurse to join our busy and well-established small animal practice. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses at all stages of their career, including newly qualified graduates, with strong support and mentorship available from our experienced team.

The Role

As a Veterinary Nurse within our primary care team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care and ensuring the wellbeing of patients throughout their journey in the practice.

Your responsibilities will include supporting consultations and surgical procedures, monitoring patient recovery, administering treatments, maintaining clinical areas, and providing guidance to pet owners. You will also contribute to maintaining accurate records and upholding high clinical and professional standards.

This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who is proactive, compassionate, and enthusiastic about developing their nursing skills in a busy GP setting.

 

Working Pattern

* Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
* Monday to Friday on a structured rota
* Shifts between 7:30am - 3:30pm or 11:00am - 7:00pm
* 30-minute unpaid break each day
* 1 in 4 Saturdays - 8:00am - 3:00pm
* No Sundays or out-of-hours
* One bank holiday per year
 

Our Practice

Ark Vetcare Foxrock is a busy first-opinion practice equipped with modern facilities including a dedicated operating theatre, dental suite, large in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and separate dog and cat kennelling.

Our team consists of experienced Veterinary Surgeons, skilled Veterinary Nurses, and a supportive administrative team. We work in a positive, team-oriented environment where everyone contributes, supports one another, and takes pride in delivering excellent patient and client care.

As part of the wider Ark Vetcare group, we also benefit from the support of our branch practices in Dun Laoghaire and Kilmacud.
