Unlock Your Passions at Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership:
Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership is a friendly group of five practices based in the beautiful city of Norwich. Our Equine Clinic in Brooke was purpose-built and opened in 2012, allowing us to offer high-quality, advanced care to horses, ponies, and donkeys across Norfolk and Suffolk. Norwich is a fantastic place to live and work, with easy access to the stunning Norfolk coastline and countryside, including the The Broads National Park, as well as great transport links to the rest of the UK.
We have a compassionate and supportive team of 24 vets and 26 nurses across the group, all excited to welcome and support a new graduate. Within our team, we also have specialists in ophthalmology, dermatology, and equine internal medicine, providing plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
Our practice is equipped with fantastic facilities and cutting-edge equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, gastroscope, lameness locator, endoscope, our own dental kits, surgical theatre, surgical laser, small animal dental x-rays, internal laboratories at each branch, and new imaging technology and so much more. There’s also plenty of scope for those interested in mixed practice, giving you a wide range of experience.
Enjoy a welcoming environment with structured support and flexibility to suit your lifestyle.
The role is 40 hours per week, usually worked as four 10-hour days between Monday and Friday. There is also an on-call rota for out-of-hours and weekend equine care, giving you valuable experience and variety in your work.
You will receive excellent support within the Equine team, working under the guidance of our Lead Equine Vet on a day-to-day basis. Across the group, we have a large team of small animal vets with a wide range of experience, from current new graduates to highly experienced colleagues. You’ll also have access to a very supportive network, including three practice managers and dedicated support teams in each branch, ensuring you have all the guidance you need to thrive.
Small Animal/Equine caseload split.
