Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE
Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week, or part-time considered
Shift pattern: Alternate weekly shifts 07:45–16:15 and 10:00–18:30 (flexible 4-day week considered)
Saturday: 1 in 4, 08:30–12:30 with TOIL given the following week

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our small animal practice in Wilmslow. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, supportive practice where you will be fully involved in medical and surgical nursing, as well as nurse-led consultations.
You will have the chance to work with a wide variety of cases, and our visiting surgical and imaging specialists allow for exposure to a broader clinical experience. There are no out-of-hours shifts, and the practice is open from 8:00am to 6:30pm.

Our practice is located in beautiful Wilmslow, offering the perfect balance of countryside charm and town convenience, with Manchester just 30 minutes away by train. We are a first-opinion practice with a passionate, friendly team who are committed to providing high standards of veterinary care.

The Team

You’ll join a dedicated nursing team of six experienced RVNs, with special interests in behaviour, feline medicine, consulting, wound management, nutrition, and anaesthesia. We have six vets (two full-time, four part-time), and the team works closely together to deliver the best care for our patients. We value collaboration, support, and regular social interaction to keep the team connected.

Rota

*Alternate weekly shifts: Early 07:45–16:15 / Late 10:00–18:30
*Flexible 4-day week options can be discussed
*Weekend rota: 1 Saturday morning in 4, 08:30–12:30, with a TOIL half day given the following week
