Gillingham, Dorset, England
Primary Care - Vet Surgeon – Small Animal /
Shreen Vets, Gillingham [1430] /
On-site

Salary up to £65,000 DOE

Shreen Vets are excited to welcome a confident Veterinary Surgeon to our friendly, welcoming team. We’re looking for someone who enjoys everyday GP life, is comfortable with sole charge and thrives in a first opinion setting where no two days are the same.
We’re a small animal-only practice offering a strong balance of consults and surgery, including two dedicated ops days. Our caseload is primarily routine procedures, giving you the chance to build strong client relationships while maintaining solid surgical exposure.

We’re well equipped with brand new DR X-ray, ultrasound, flexible endoscopy, capnography and a full in-house lab, alongside a range of other diagnostic tools. While we refer when necessary, we aim to keep as much in-house as possible to ensure continuity of care for our clients and their pets.

You’ll be supported by an experienced, hands-on RVN team who run their own clinics and actively assist with procedures. Alongside our Veterinary Surgeon and dedicated client care team, including a certificate holder in Physiotherapy, we foster a collaborative environment where everyone’s input is valued. We’re also open to supporting further certification for the right candidate.

Our single-site practice is based in a recently refurbished converted building in the town centre. Inside, you’ll find a spacious reception, three large consult rooms, prep and theatre, separate cat and dog wards, a cosy staff area, quiet office space for admin time and on-site parking.
