Would you like to be part of our Engineering team in San Francisco, designing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms for real life problems?


Job Responsibilities:

    • Interact with customers to understand business requirements and priorities.
    • Translate business questions into technical problems that can be solved with a combination of software development and Machine Learning research.
    • Design, prepare, and present demonstrations that showcase product capabilities and features to customers.
    • Analyse large amounts of data to get strategic insights.
    • Report and present development work clearly and efficiently, both internally and externally (clients, different audiences, etc.), both verbally and in writing. 
    • Actively collaborate with the business development team in their pre-sales activities, including but not limited to: presenting the company to new prospective clients, and representing InstaDeep in conferences or events.

Requirements:

    • A B.S, M.S, or Ph.D in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or in a related field.
    • 2-5 years’ experience or relevant qualifications.
    • Excellent oral and written communication.
    • Excellent knowledge of Data Science, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning (e.g clustering, decision trees, etc.), as well as tools for data visualization, processing, cleaning, and storage.
    • Experience with high-performance data handling libraries–e.g SQL, Spark, Dask, or Numba.
    • Proficiency with version control (e.g Git), best coding practices, and in developing and debugging production-level Python or similar languages.
    • Experience with CI/CD tools to automate building, testing and deployment of ML projects.
For this position we are considering Mid-level Research Engineer with a salary pay range of $130,000 and $160,000. Base compensation for this position will vary based on experience, skills and job-related knowledge.
