Are you a Software QA Engineer eager to play an active role in ensuring the software quality?

As a Software QA Engineer at InstaDeep, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI software products within an Agile environment. You will contribute to the development of comprehensive testing plans based on project requirements and specifications. By independently executing test plans, you will meticulously analyse test results and collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects. 

The Software QA Engineer must accomplish the following:

    • Ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery by contributing to designing and maintaining an automated test pipeline and ensuring its integration within the deployment workflow.
    • Your responsibilities extend to designing and implementing testing strategies, covering functionality, performance, and user experience.
    • Your collaboration with cross-functional teams and Product Owners will be crucial in understanding acceptance criteria, validating customer requirements, and resolving defects.
    • Furthermore, you will assist in maintaining the test environment, ensuring its accuracy and relevance. Your commitment to creating and maintaining clear and concise test documentation will contribute to the overall success of our software development lifecycle.
    • Actively participating in process improvement initiatives, you will leverage Agile methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the software development lifecycle.

Who you are:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 2-3 years of proven experience in software quality assurance.
    • You have a good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and a passion for quality code.
    • Good understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
    • Experience with at least one of the following languages (C#, Java, Typescript,  C++, python...)
    • Experience with at least one of the following tools and frameworks: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Postman, …
    • Proficiency in automation testing tools and scripting languages.
    • Experience with API, performance, and security testing
    • Knowledge of version control systems.
    • Knowledge of CI/CD frameworks
    • Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
