Workflow Automation and Test Result Management
As a Software Quality Assurance intern, you will help build an app that automates test execution and test result management tasks. This internship gives you a chance to learn about automating software testing and tracking bugs.
Software QA Intern must accomplish the following
Build a system that triggers and monitors the entire GitHub Actions workflow, including the end-to-end test job, tracking if it is pending, running, or finished.
Set the integration with our test management system to display test results and dashboards and charts that help in the software quality assessment.
Set up notifications to send alerts to a Slack channel when tests fail.
When tests fail, automatically create bug tickets in Jira, with the ticket's title and description populated based on the test failure details.
Technical stack: Git, GitHub Actions, Testmo API, Slack API, Jira API, TypeScript, Playwright, Python.
Integration of Generative AI In Agile Requirements Testing
As a Software Quality Assurance intern, you will be involved in the development of an application that uses AI to generate test cases from user stories and subsequently create test scripts. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and gain hands-on experience in the software quality assurance domain.
Software QA Intern must accomplish the following
Continue developing an AI-powered application that can generate test cases written in Gherkin language based on user stories.
Implement the functionality to generate test scripts, allowing users to select the testing type and test framework of their choice.
Rigorously test and validate the application to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
Assist in maintaining and improving the application based on feedback and evolving requirements.
Technical stack: Git, GitHub, React, Playwright, TypeScript, Gherkin language, Python.
Who You Are
- Undergraduate QA software engineer
- A detail-oriented individual passionate about software quality assurance, automation, and driving innovation through technology.
- Familiar with Git and GitHub Actions; experience with TypeScript and Playwright is a plus.
- Eager to learn and apply API integration techniques (Testmo, Slack, and Jira APIs) to streamline automation processes.
- A problem-solver with strong communication skills, collaborative, and keen to grow within an agile development environment.
