We are looking for a dynamic and autonomous HR Generalist to join our Paris office. This role requires a proactive professional who can take ownership of HR operations from A to Z, including payroll management. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, take initiative, and effectively communicate in English across different levels of the organization.

In this role, you will act as a key HR partner, ensuring seamless HR processes and compliance while fostering a supportive and efficient work environment. You will provide strategic HR guidance, drive employee engagement, and ensure that all HR policies and procedures are well implemented across the company.

Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract management, payroll, benefits administration, and offboarding.
    • Ensure smooth and accurate payroll processing for France and other countries as needed, in collaboration with the finance team.
    • Serve as the primary HR contact, providing expert guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, employee relations, and labor law compliance.
    • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with global guidelines and local regulations.
    • Handle employee relations matters, offering advice and solutions to managers and team members.
    • Drive HR initiatives related to talent development, performance management, and employee engagement.
    • Manage HR administrative processes with accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve HR efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role, managing HR operations end-to-end.
    • Strong knowledge of French labor laws and HR best practices (experience with US labor laws is a plus).
    • Fluent in both French and English (mandatory).
    • Hands-on experience with payroll processing and benefits management.
    • Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and drive HR projects with minimal supervision.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and detail-oriented mindset.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
    • Proficiency in HRIS tools (experience with BambooHR and Lever is a plus).
