Senior Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Functional Consultant – Remote with unlimited paid holiday!

The Role:
This is an exciting role in our rapidly growing Consultancy Practice team, to further increase our skills and capacity to deliver high value Dynamics365 implementation projects to our clients to facilitate their digital transformation, and increase productivity and growth. Consultants lead projects in collaboration with Project Managers, using their skills and experience to help shape the delivery, and deliver a high quality and robust solution, whilst simultaneously supporting junior members of the team with their growth, confidence and experience.
What skills and working characteristics should this person have?
- Deep technical working knowledge of the core Business Central modules as well as common ISVs.
- Demonstratable knowledge of the Business Central product roadmap together with peripheral technologies like Jet reports and Power Platform.
- Broad understanding of software development cycles, release management, data migrations, cut over plans and post go-live support.
- Deep understanding of the industry, preferably with specialization in high-demand sectors such as technology or finance and professional services.
- Proven ability to lead and manage client engagements, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate business needs, logical thinking and problem solving to propose appropriate solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to foster strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Experience mentoring junior consultants and contributing to team development.
As a Senior BC Functional Consultant, you’ll be responsible for:
- Lead client workshops to capture requirements and create proposed solution designs, in collaboration with a Solutions Architect.
- Help to direct projects in order they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
- Perform in-depth analysis of clients’ business processes, workflows, and system requirements. Identify improvement opportunities and propose technology solutions.
- Lead sprint planning and/or structure and prioritise work item backlogs in a logical and derisked approach to solution building.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for client teams to ensure effective adoption of new processes, technologies, and strategies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication. Understand their business challenges and provide strategic advice.
- Negotiate project deliverables and agreements with Customers to ensure projects are financially and technically feasible.
- Author and present detailed reports and findings to stakeholders. This includes technical documentation, project updates, and strategic recommendations.
- Direct line management of one or more junior functional consultants to support their growth and development. Mentoring of other colleagues from the wider business.
