The Role:
As a Business Central Functional Consultant, you'll help customers bridge the gap between how they work today and where they want to be tomorrow. You'll lead implementations from discovery through to adoption, translating business challenges into practical solutions that create measurable value.
Your work will directly influence customer success, project outcomes, and the continued growth of Infinity's Business Central practice
What you'll be doing
Customer Discovery & Solution Design
- Understand how customers operate, identify opportunities for improvement, and design Business Central solutions that support their commercial and operational goals.
Implementation & Delivery
- Lead functional delivery across the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions are configured, tested, and deployed successfully.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, facilitating workshops, managing expectations, and providing clear guidance throughout delivery.
Adoption & Change
- Help customers realise value from their investment through effective training, knowledge transfer, and business process alignment.
Commercial & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and scope change opportunities, balancing customer requirements with best practice while supporting the ongoing growth of the Business Central practice.
Handover & Long-Term Success
- Ensure customers transition smoothly into support, with the documentation, knowledge, and confidence required for long-term success

- Users are resistant to change and need confidence in new processes.
- A project is at risk because requirements are unclear or poorly defined.
- Customers want to maximise value from Business Central without overcomplicating the solution.
- Delivery teams need clear functional direction to ensure successful implementation.
What sets you apart
- You think in outcomes rather than features.
- You can quickly understand how a business operates and where improvements can be made.
- You simplify complex problems and communicate solutions clearly.
- You challenge constructively when a better approach exists.
- You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and bringing structure to evolving requirements.
- You balance customer expectations with commercial and delivery realities.
- You build credibility through expertise, pragmatism, and consistency.
- You take ownership and follow through on commitments.
Your impact:
