Role Overview:
As a Principal Functional Consultant, you will play a critical role in our Consultancy Practice team, leading high-value Dynamics 365 implementation projects. You will leverage your expertise to shape project delivery, ensuring robust and high-quality solutions that facilitate clients' digital transformation, increase productivity, and drive growth. You will also mentor junior team members, supporting their growth and development
What skills and working characteristics should this person have?
- Functional Experience: Expert functional experience in CRM configuration, standard customization, workflows, dashboards, forms, views, and standard reports development.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep and broad knowledge of the technical capabilities of Dynamics 365, including appropriate certification. Must demonstrate good knowledge of best practices for the Dynamics 365 suite.
- Azure and Cloud Technologies: Good understanding of Azure and cloud technologies.
- Software Development Life Cycle: Broad understanding of the software development life cycle, development management, release management, data migrations, cut-over planning, and early live support.
- Methodologies: Experience with Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
- Logical Thinking: Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Professionalism: Smart and presentable.
As a Principal D365 Functional Consultant, you’ll be responsible for:
- Requirements Gathering: Lead workshops with clients to gather and document requirements in the form of user stories in DevOps.
- Sprint Planning: Lead sprint planning sessions with clients, ensuring clear objectives and deliverables.
- Customization: Customize Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, including Sales, Customer Service, Project Service Automation, and Field Service.
- Testing and Reviews: Conduct testing and peer reviews to ensure the quality and robustness of solutions.
- Client Sessions: Run ‘show and tell’ sessions, including sprint retrospectives, to demonstrate progress and gather feedback.
- Training: Prepare structured training materials and deliver end-user training sessions.
- Data Migration: Manage data migration processes and be onsite with clients during go-live activities.
- Best Practices: Ensure solutions are highly maintainable, supportable, and stable over the long term, adhering to recognized best practices.
- Mentorship: Support junior team members with their growth, confidence, and experience.
