Role Overview:
As a Sales Specialist – Microsoft Business Applications, you’ll play a key role in driving growth across our
Dynamics 365 and Power Platform portfolio. This is a solution‑led sales role, where success comes from
understanding client challenges, shaping the right Microsoft solution, and working collaboratively with our
wider sales, presales and delivery teams to close meaningful deals.
Rather than selling products in isolation, you’ll lead Consultative, value‑based conversations with
customers – positioning Microsoft Business Applications as strategic enablers of transformation.
Dynamics 365 and Power Platform portfolio. This is a solution‑led sales role, where success comes from
understanding client challenges, shaping the right Microsoft solution, and working collaboratively with our
wider sales, presales and delivery teams to close meaningful deals.

What skills and working characteristics should this person have?
- Proven experience selling Microsoft Business Applications (Dynamics 365, Power Platform,
Business Central, CE/CRM) - Strong background in consultative or solution selling within technology, cloud or digital
transformation - Confidence engaging with senior decision‑makers and leading strategic conversations
- Experience working collaboratively with technical and delivery teams during complex sales cycles
- Commercially astute, opportunity‑driven and comfortable owning targets and pipeline
- Excellent communication, storytelling and relationship‑building skills
- A mindset focused on learning, growth and continuous improvement
As a Sales Specialist –D365 Business Applications you’ll be responsible for:
Solution‑Led Selling
- Lead discovery‑driven conversations to understand customer goals, pain points and transformation
objectives - Design and articulate end‑to‑end Microsoft Business Application solutions aligned to measurable
business outcomes - Translate technical capability into clear commercial and operational value for senior stakeholders
Sales & Pipeline Ownership
- Identify, qualify and progress new business opportunities across mid‑market and enterprise
customers - Own opportunities from initial engagement through to close, ensuring a high ‑quality customer
experience - Build strong commercial cases, proposals and presentations that resonate with both technical and
non‑technical audiences
Collaboration & Team Selling
- Work closely with Account Managers, Sales Leadership, Presales Consultants and Technical
Architects throughout the sales cycle - Act as the subject‑matter expert for Microsoft Business Applications within multi‑disciplinary deal
teams - Partner with Microsoft and wider ecosystem partners to drive co‑sell opportunities
Market & Customer Insight
- Keep up‑to‑date with Microsoft’s Business Applications roadmap, industry trends and competitor
positioning - Use market insight to proactively identify opportunities and add value to customer conversations
