What you’ll be doing?
- ➡️ You will develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend solutions utilizing PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and Elasticsearch;
- ➡️ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to deliver seamless user experiences;
- ➡️ Design and implement efficient and reusable PHP code in line with best practices of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP);
- ➡️ Optimize and enhance database structures, queries, and overall performance for smooth data retrieval and storage;
- ➡️ Utilize Elasticsearch to design, implement, and maintain search functionalities, ensuring accurate and efficient data indexing and querying;
- ➡️ Debug and resolve technical issues by identifying root causes and implementing solutions in a timely manner;
- ➡️ Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure reliability;
- ➡️ Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve development processes and outcomes;
- ➡️ Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical guidance and encouraging a culture of continuous learning.
About You
- 👨💻 You come with a great level of English, both written and spoken - ideally C1;
- 👨💻 You have 5-7 years of professional experience in backend PHP development;
- 👨💻 Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns;
- 👨💻 Extensive hands-on experience with the Laravel framework;
- 👨💻 In-depth knowledge of MySQL, including database design, optimization, and complex query writing;
- 👨💻 Proven expertise in implementing and working with Elasticsearch for search and data indexing;
- 👨💻 Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration;
- 👨💻 Experienced with version control systems;
- 👨💻 Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively;
- 👨💻 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- 👨💻 Experience mentoring junior developers is a plus;
- 👨💻 A portfolio showcasing your technical skills is highly advantageous.
