You are an experienced Data Engineer who is excited to join a small team of seasoned entrepreneurs and technologists tackling what we see as one of society’s most pressing problem: making time matter in a world that hijacks our attention.

As the foundational hire for our Data Engineering practice, you must have experience building enterprise-grade data architecture solutions. Experience working on enterprise SaaS products using a modern development stack is a great asset to have, and so is experience using the latest AI stacks.

You are a lean experimentor, focused on shipping and iterating. You to deliver results in 1/3 the time that most competent people think possible. * Design, build, & maintain scalable cloneable single-tenant data architecture solutions for storage and processing.

* Design, build, & maintain scalable large-scale multiple continuous data extraction pipelines from multiple SaaS APIs.

* Ensure data integrity, quality, privacy, security, and accessibility.

* Build the foundation of our Data Engineering practice.

* Report to our CTO - Clint Robinson. Clint has 20 years of experience building technology products. He was founder, CEO and CTO of an enterprise SaaS company which was acquired for $200 million after 3 years.

* 5 years experience building enterprise grade data products.

* An incredibly strong data engineering and backend engineering expert with a track record of contributions to large products / systems.

* Strong experience in more than one database concepts (SQL, NoSQL, graphdb, timeseriesdb).

* Strong ability in any of Python, Java, Scala, Rust, TypeScript.

* Strong experience connecting and integrating external data sources, specifically SaaS APIs.

* BSc or higher in Computer Science or Machine Learning or Information Science is a plus.

* Get deep with our design partners, working with our AI Eng and ML Eng to deliver an iterative prototype.

* Write connectors to pull data out of multiple SaaS APIs and integrate that data.

* Help lay the groundwork for a scalable and secure data practice.

* Write code in Python, SQL, possibly TypeScript.

* Experiment rapidly to deliver learnings and results in the first month.
